The causal relationship between changes in the productivity of the rural economy and its growth due to the transformation of rural settlements can be seen in the long-term corrective influence through institutional-economic, investment-innovation, organizationaladministrative, socio-economic and socio-demographic factors. It is established that in the context of the rural economy productivity increases activated reproductive processes, rural settlement network evolves, localization of population around the high-performance farms continues, the functionality of rural settlements and mood of settler farmers change.
