ECONOMIC SYSTEM OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: STRUCTURE, FUNCTIONAL
AND TERRITORIAL SPECIFICS
Section: TERRITORIAL SOCIAL AND DEMOGRAPHIC PECULIARITIES OF UKRAINE
Language: Ukrainian
Abstract: The paper deals with a theoretical issue of the structure and the operational behavior of the social responsibility
economic system. The issue finds its basis within the scientifically accepted sociophilosophical notion of social
responsibility as a systemic phenomenon. The paper details the functional and the territorial specifics of the social
responsibility economic system’s organization. The System is presented as a complex unit comprising the socially
responsible economic agents, the hierarchy of contracts as the economic norms of social responsibility and the
economic object of social responsibility in the form of social capital. The socially responsible economic agents
are referred as individual and institutional entities. Their specific functions and interactions are viewed as the
organizational backbone of the social responsibility economic system. The paper reveals the specifics of interaction
between the social responsibility economic system and its territory domain (the System’s environment). The
economic agents’ functional specifics (individual and institutional) as well as the territory specifics are deemed
significant with regard to social capital generation.
Key words: social responsibility, system, economic agent, functions, territory domain.
