Features of Teaching and Educational Functions of Preschool Education

Abstract: The development of preschool education and child rearing is becoming more urgent due to the need of forming intellectual potential of the individual, relevant to requirements of transformation society. Functions of pre-school institutions are structured in view of the dynamics of psychological processes in preschool age. It is substantiated that the tasks of pre-school education should mainly consist of ensuring the positive socialization of children. In the article the necessity to enhance the functionality of pre-school institutions is suggested.
Expanding the network of private pre-school institutions could be the solution to urgent problems of child rearing and education. There is an urgent need for real changes in educational practice and their subsequent institutionalization, focus on the diverse interests of consumers of educational services. The variable part of pre-school programs should be specialized and meet the social needs of the population and psychological characteristics of children in preschool age.
